Hi, my name is Kirby and I am a 1 1/2 years old Cocker Spaniel. First, I want to thank the nice ladies at Cocker Connection that took me out of the shelter. I don't know what would have happened to me if it were not for them. Actually, I do know but I don't like to think about it. I was injured before I came to the Shelter by another dog and Cocker Connection nursed me back to health and I stayed with Donna in her foster home in Riverside. I had a lot of fun there and met a lot of Cockers like me but I really wanted a home of my own. A couple of weeks ago my prayers were answered and I was adopted by Don & Arlene Guillette of Diamond Bar, CA.

I am very happy at my new home, plus I have a vacation home in Lake Havasu, AZ and I travel places in my motor home. Yesterday, I heard my mon and dad say how lucky they were to have me. I could not believe my ears!! I thought I was the lucky one. My mom told me that my dad pampers me. She's right and I love it!! He takes me every where he goes. I especially like going to Petsmart and picking out my own toys and treats. There is one thing that makes me sad.

A lot of my friends are still at the Cocker Connection foster homes and they really want a home of their own. Please take a minute to look at their pictures and adopt one of them. You will not be sorry as they will be so grateful that they will give you tons of love and affection in return. Cocker Connection does not have enough room for all the Cockers in shelters so if you adopt one of my friends, it will make room for another Cocker.
